Last Updated: 11/11/25 Lafayette Process Servers LLC, herein referred to as “Lafayette Process Servers”, appreciates the opportunity to serve your court filing, court research, process serving, and skip tracing needs (the "Services") under the terms and conditions of this Services Agreement (the "Agreement"). Please carefully read and understand the entire contents of this Agreement before using the Lafayette Process Servers website or Services. Your use of this website or our Services constitutes your consent and agreement to be bound by all terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree with all terms, we will be unable to provide any services to you. Our Services & Standard Fees Prices listed are for standard service areas. If the service area is outside our standard service area, the price will be adjusted in the prepaid invoice. 1. Process Service: Standard / Routine • Price: $120.00 • This price is for service at a single address for one individual or entity. • Includes up to three (3) attempts. • The first attempt will be made within 120 hours (5 days) of receipt. • Includes a standard (non-notarized) affidavit of service. • Additional Fees (If Required): o Notarized Affidavit: $25.00 o Printing: $0.65 per page (legal paper) o USPS Affidavit Delivery (with tracking): $12.00 2. Process Service: Rush • Price: $200.00 • This price is for service at a single address for one individual or entity. • Includes up to three (3) attempts. • The first attempt will be made within 24 hours of receipt. • Includes a standard (non-notarized) affidavit of service. • Additional Fees (If Required): (Same as Standard) 3. Court Filing Fee (Courthouse Runner) • Price: $120.00 per hour • This fee is for the act of filing documents with the court and includes driving time and wait time. • This fee does not include actual court costs, such as mandated filing fees, parking meter fees, or other associated expenses, which will be billed to the client. 4. Skip Tracing (Database Search) • Price: $85.00 (Basic) or $200.00 (Comprehensive) • This is a flat-fee database search to locate a witness or defendant in connection with a process service. 5. Process Server Stakeout Service • Price: $120.00 per hour (2-hour minimum) • This fee is for dedicated surveillance (stakeout) at a specific location to execute a process service on an evasive individual. This service is billed hourly, including wait time. 6. Witness Locating (Field Service) • Price: $120.00 per hour • This fee is for active, in-field attempts to locate a witness for the purpose of executing a process service. This service is billed hourly. 7. Legal Courier Service • Price: $120.00 per hour Important Payment Information • Prepayment Required: All services are prepaid by credit card or ACH. No work will be done unless prepayment is made. • Payment by Check: If you want to pay by check, a scanned copy of the check must be provided with your service documents. • Invoice and Receipt: A prepaid invoice will be provided. Upon successful payment, a receipt of payment will be issued. • Credit Card Fee: Payments made by credit card will incur a 6% convenience fee. • All Fees Are Non-Refundable: All service fees are non-refundable once paid, as our fees are for the attempt of service, not a guarantee of a successful outcome. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability 1. No Guarantee of Service Lafayette Process Servers LLC does not guarantee that service of process will be successfully completed in every case. We commit to performing the agreed-upon number of attempts and exercising due diligence in our efforts to effectuate service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 2. Not Attorneys; No Legal Advice Lafayette Process Servers LLC and its representatives are not licensed attorneys and therefore cannot provide legal advice under any circumstances. Our services are strictly limited to the delivery of legal documents and related administrative tasks as permitted by law. 3. Client Responsibility It remains the client's responsibility to understand the legal requirements pertaining to their case, the documents being served, and the sufficiency of service. 4. Special Process Server Appointment For Louisiana jurisdiction cases in local courts where a special process server is required, if you hire Lafayette Process Servers LLC, you must obtain a motion and order appointing Lafayette Process Servers LLC or its Agents as the special process server. Server Safety For server safety, please provide the subject's photo ID and inform us of any known history of violence or criminal behavior. If you cannot provide a photo, we can source one from the DMV for an additional fee.
